Since the beginning of time, humans have had a relationship with animals using them for food, companionship, rituals, labor, and much more.
Researchers are now discovering the science behind these relationships and the science is fascinating. Can cats be trained? How can humans help dogs solve problems?
The answer to these questions and others are being addressed by the Human-Animal Interaction Lab at Oregon State University. Dr. Monique Udell, director of the lab, will talk about the unique research conducted by her and her team. All pet owners will want to come prepared with their questions for Dr. Udell.
