The Rotary Club of Salem invites community organizations to apply for their 2025/2026 Good Works Large Grant. Eligible projects for consideration are those that directly or indirectly foster, develop, promote, and encourage the health, education, and general welfare (primarily of youth) in the city of Salem and the surrounding area. Interested applicants should submit proposals for a project focused on service performed by Salem area non-profit organizations.

We are accepting applications from $5,000 to $30,000. Projects should conclude by June 30, 2027.

Ideally, the Good Works Grant will be awarded to programs that uses the funds for long term projects that provide benefits to the community for years to come (such as public space improvements, self-sustaining programs, etc.), as opposed to projects which exhaust the funds after a short time frame (salaries, program fees, etc.).
