July 8: Meet the new Rotary International President
Join us and enjoy a virtual visit from Rotary International President Holger Knaack. He is from the Rotary Club of Herzogtum Lauenburg- Mölln, Germany. He is outgoing, engaging and fun, and will share Rotary’s 2020-2021 theme, plus our five-year plan to Grow Rotary. Here is our chance to enjoy a presentation few can participate in unless they are attending an International Assembly or International Convention.

Message from President Sue
Greetings Rotary Friends,
This week we’ll hear from RI President Holger Knaack and his vision for the Rotary of the future. What seems years ago, but actually in February, I attended the NW PETS (President-elect training) Conference, joining several hundred Rotarians for a weekend of learning and fellowship. President Knaack spent an afternoon with us discussing his vision for his year-Rotary Opens Opportunities. He spoke in an inspiring way how Rotary isn’t something you just ‘join’, but an opportunity for a whole new world to open up for ourselves and others. An opportunity to live a richer, more meaningful life with members of our Club and community as well as people all over the world.
I’d love to know what resonates with you after you hear him speak. Drop me a note, give me a call or include your thoughts in our member survey. Speaking of member survey, you recently received a link to a brief member survey. If you haven’t already done so, please take a few minutes to complete, as the information you provide will inform your board of directors as they review and update our strategic plan. We want to know what is most important to each of you as we begin our 2nd century of service to our community.
Sue Bloom has invited you to a meeting.
