March 19th – Grocery Industry Insights with Tim Jennings
Tim will be talking briefly about Roth’s; how the store got started, where they are going, and how they will continue the brand promises. He will also give us some information about where Roth’s fits in the US/Canada marketplace.
Industry matters such as supply chain and what effects it, tariffs, and inflations will be the bulk of his presentation.
Come learn more about this important piece of our community.

Spring is almost here!
Spring is just around the corner, and with it comes March—the month of lions and lambs, unpredictable weather, and the annual debate about whether it’s too soon to dust off the golf clubs. Kids will soon be enjoying Spring Break, even if the weather doesn’t always cooperate!
March is also Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Month in Rotary, a reminder of the life-changing impact clean water has on communities around the world. While Oregon’s version of “too much water” often comes in the form of surprise downpours—and even hail—let’s take a moment to appreciate the importance of fresh, accessible water for all.
As we enter the final stretch of this Rotary year, we have exciting news—we’ll be welcoming two new members to our club in the next two weeks! Please take a moment to introduce yourself, invite them for coffee or lunch, and help them feel at home. A warm welcome goes a long way in building engagement and lasting connections.
And for those of you keeping an eye on March Madness—may your brackets stay intact, your upsets be few, and your Rotary spirit remain strong no matter how many times your team lets you down!
I’m in New York this week, with David Deckelmann kindly stepping in for me. I look forward to seeing you all on March 26!
