May 24: Update on Rotary International Grant Projects

Past District Governor, Renee Campbell, recently visited East Africa with Rotarians, non-Rotarians, and members of a local NGO. The trip aimed to review and work on Rotary Grant projects in process and explore potential projects for District 5100.

The group visited nine water projects in three countries, one community, and economic development project, the Rotary Peace Center in Kampala, and returned with sixteen project opportunities. Her program is a brief recap of the projects visited, Rotary District 5100’s global reach, and an appeal to keep the International in Rotary International.

Program Chair: Marilyn Schuster

Meeting Location: Willamette Heritage Center Dye Room

President’s Message
Rotarians,

This week we will be back at the Willamette Heritage Center, back in the Dye House. Our very own Past District Governor Renee Campbell will be presenting on Rotary’s international service projects. Marylin Schuster, who has sponsored several international projects herself, will be the chair.

The picture is of Marilyn doing some Rotary work in Ghana.
Keep those pictures coming

Cheers!
