November 17: District 5100 International Service Highlights
Our own Renee Campbell, Past District Governor, and current District International Service Chair comes to share the highlights of District 5100 International Service for 2020-21, inspired by our club’s Gold Star Report. You will be impressed and amazed by the collective positive impact the northern Oregon and southwest Washington clubs have around the world. We put dollars from our fundraisers and from our own club Foundations to work, often with Rotary Foundation District and Global Grant matching funds “Doing Good in the World.” See how our own club has led or participated in, twelve of these projects.

Message from President Chane
 
Greetings Fellow Rotarians:
 
As many of you are aware, while we were meeting strictly via Zoom, we started our meetings at noon and ended by 1:00. But that was not always our mode of operation. In fact, club lore indicates we would spend a bit more time socializing and would end the meeting by 1:13-ish.
 
With that in mind, I encourage you to come as early as 11:45 and catch up with old friends and make some new acquaintances. I will continue to begin the meeting at 12:10 and will do my best to end the speaker’s presentation by 1:05 which will give us about eight minutes for Q&A.
 
We do understand that some of you may, on occasion, need to leave before 1:15.

Vocational Tour at Scenic Valley Winery
We had a great turnout for the wine tasting last week. After tasting from the barrels, we then enjoyed our choice of wines while we ate our tasty charcuterie which literally translates to ’products of a fancy pork butcher’.
