November 10: Trends in the Local Commercial Real Estate Market
Nick Williams with SVN Commercial Advisors will provide an overview of the 2021 commercial real estate market in the mid-Willamette Valley.

It’s been an exciting year with many transactions of notable assets changing hands, some for the first time in decades. Salem’s downtown core, very notably, is garnering much attention from investors outside of the market at a level not seen before.

Following the market synopsis, Nick will take a deeper dive into some of our more notable transactions.

Message from President Chane

Greetings Fellow Rotarians:

What a great visit with District Governor Jim Boyles last week! After our meeting, Barry, Renee, PE David, and I gave Jim and Nancy a tour of the Gerry Frank| Salem Rotary Amphitheater. Of course, they were impressed by the structure, but even more impressed that our club – thanks to Barry, Ken, and their team – were able to raise the $4 million to make it happen.

We had two other highlights from last week’s meeting: Dewey Whitton was inducted, and Beth Rhodes received a Paul Harris award for her unbelievable contributions to our club.

We’ll see many of you tomorrow night for our vocational tour at Pearmine Farms followed by wine tasting at Scenic Valley Farm. And as Elise reminded us, the following day is Veterans’ Day!

Take care,

Chane
