November 3: Jim Boyle, District Governor 2021-22
Jim Boyle is a member and Past President of the Rotary Club of West Linn. He has served as Assistant Governor to the Portland Metro Region, District Chair for Essentials of Rotary Knowledge (ERK), and District Membership Chair.

Raised in the Chicagoland area, Jim’s career has included work in corporate America, entrepreneurial pursuits, and academia

Rotary found Jim when his club held a service project that benefited a women’s shelter, and it involved the entire community. He realized then how significantly a small but committed number of Rotarians can impact a community. Since then, he has sponsored 32 new members and believes the WORLD NEEDS MORE ROTARIANS.

Message from President Chane

Greetings Fellow Rotarians:

I apologize again for our inability to provide a Zoom connection for our members last week. There were technical issues that I, as a non-techie, am unable to explain, but we anticipate being able to offer that tomorrow.

And speaking of tomorrow, please join us for a visit with District Governor Jim Boyle. DG Jim will provide a great insight into Rotary and offer answers to all your Rotary questions.

At our last meeting, the Board approved an allocation to provide snacks to Salem Health. Cyndi Leinassar was the perfect person for me to tap to go shopping – which you can see resulted in a cornucopia of goodies to share with our valued health care workers.
Take care,

Chane
