Boys & Girls Club – Knudson 1395 Summer St NE, Salem, OR 97301 Parking notes: We’d like to keep our main fenced lot available for members with mobility issues or accessibility needs. Plenty of street parking is also available around the building for everyone else. The blue parking spaces are located directly in front of our building. Please encourage Rotarians to leave these spots available for those with the greatest accessibility needs. We will have signs and staff outside to guide parking and entry into the building. All other Rotarians can park in the spaces highlighted in green at the church across the street. The only spaces they should avoid are those directly in front of the north side of our building, which are not highlighted in the picture. If all available lots are full, street parking is also an option. We encourage everyone to arrive a little early to allow enough time to find parking and get into the building before the meeting starts. |

President’s Message
This past week, the club presidents who planned the Bowl-io for Polio event, gathered to recap and think about the future. We all agreed that we felt the event had a successful first run, reviewed a few things to do better, and turned our thoughts to next year.
At one point we discussed if ticket checking was necessary. At about the same time, we all said, “We are Rotarians, of course not!”
I love that the expectation – the go-to understanding of being a Rotarian – is that we follow the 4-way test in all that we say, think, and do. Life is just better this way!
See you tomorrow at the Boys & Girls Club on Summer Street!
See you tomorrow,
President Elise Bauman
