During the initial goal-setting phase of our Rotary year, your Board members sit down together and plan how much our Club’s charitable giving will be for the year. Do you know how much we’re aiming for? Eighty thousand. That’ right. An 8 with four zeros behind it. The list of charitable initiatives includes everything from RYLA, to Literacy activities, to World Community Service projects, to small grants. The biggest item on the list is the $30,000 we will provide to this year’s major grant recipient…
This week, we’ll hear from Jim Bernau of Willamette Valley Vineyards. He’ll fill us in on a history of Oregon wines, current events and the next chapter for Willamette Valley Vineyards.
