January 25: Advancements in Diabetes Care
Diabetes can be a scary diagnosis. It is a chronic disease with some dangerous consequences if not managed. The great news is that there are so many advancements in the care of diabetes. Whether you’re pre-diabetic, Type 1, or Type 2, technology, new medications, and lifestyle changes are improving the health and longevity of people with diabetes. Today we will welcome Kristen Lorenz, BSN, RN, CDCES, supervisor of Salem Health’s Diabetes and Nutrition Center to share the facts and real-life strategies for living with and reducing the risks of diabetes.
