August 4: Capitol Futbol Club

 Collin Box, Executive Director of the Capital Futbol Club in Salem since 2011, will provide an update on the Club’s activites.
During his time at CFC, Box has helped to grow CFC’s programs both in numbers and in quality. Box helped to guide the program to partnership with the Portland Timbers as a Portland Timbers Alliance Club in 2013. The club also became a US Soccer Development Academy member, an honor given to a handful of clubs who demonstrate professional organization and a dedication to player development.

Greetings Fellow Rotarians:
What continues to amaze me is all the work that goes into our weekly meetings. For example, Kelly White, Rabbi Eli Herb and Warren Bednarz are the people behind the scenes who ensure we have all the moving pieces coordinated. And what does that entail? It includes assignments for our song, music, invocation, and bellringers. So when you see Kelly, Rabbi Eli and Warren – you might want to thank them!
And of course, a shout out to Pam Wasson who continues to keep us informed through her E-Blast messages.
And as a reminder, we will continue to meet at the Willamette Heritage Center through the end of the year. Meeting sites after December will be determined later in the fall.
