October 6: COVID Update from Salem Health

 We will hear a comprehensive COVID update from Sarah Horn, MBA, BSN, RN, NE-BC, RNC-NIC Chief Nursing Officer at Salem Health. Sarah will provide an update on the pandemic and how it is affecting Salem Health and our community by discussing the current surge, inpatient admissions at Salem Hospital, vaccination rates, and what Salem Health has done to plan, prepare, and manage patient safety and outcomes throughout the pandemic.

Greetings Fellow Rotarians:
I think we can all agree that it’s difficult to engage in many of our committees during Covid. So, what are some of our committees and how do we get involved? Beginning with last week’s meeting, I’ve asked the leads for various committees to give us their two-minute spiel on the work they do. Hopefully, that will lead to more involvement. Adam Kohler kicked it off last week with a great description of what the Good Works Committee does and Lauren Gutierrez will follow tomorrow with information about the Membership Committee.
