April 21: Practical steps for your social justice journey
This presentation demystifies barriers for individuals and institutions to get involved with cultural and social situations by providing practical steps to take within their circles of influence. The goal of this message is to equip leaders to grow as individuals and as a collective to become a safer, more equitable, more just community for all identities.

Presenter Ray White has hosted a weekly podcast for the last two years called “On the Mike with Ray White” focusing on sharing life lessons, encouraging self-reflection and equipping leaders to take action. His vision is to see communities where every identity belongs and thrives. He has presented to various groups facilitating discussions with critical analysis, reflection positivity and practicality. He will help our club continue on our journey in addressing diversity, equity and inclusion issues.

Message from President Sue

Hello fellow Rotarians,

I mentioned at last week’s meeting, starting with our 4/28 meeting, we will be switching from a Zoom Waiting Room to a Passcode to gain entry to our meetings.

So next week, please see Passcode underneath the Zoom link and enter when prompted.

We’re making this change to ensure member’s don’t get stuck in the waiting room in event Jessica is working on technical issues.

When will we meet in person?
In regard to our meeting format, know your board has initial plans in place for when it is appropriate to move to a hybrid meeting model with both in-person and virtual option. Stay tuned!

Yours in service. Sue
