October 19: Update from the Mayor
Mayor Bennett is this week’s program speaker and he will look back on his many years of civic involvement. As a former legislator, city councilor and currently in his role as Salem’s wonderful mayor, I’m sure our fellow Rotarian and our mayor will provide one of our year’s most interesting programs.

Program Chair: Chane Griggs

Meeting Location:
Willamette Heritage Center Spinning Room

President’s Message
Rotarians,

This week we will be at the Willamette Heritage Center, DOWNSTAIRS in the Dye House. Going forward, the Dye House is going to be our home, unless we get booted.
This week we have the honor of hosting Mayor Chuck Bennett. Chane Griggs will be chairing the meeting. It should be very interesting to hear Chuck reflect on his time as mayor.

Keep those pictures coming. Here is a picture of Club Secretary Holly Berry receiving her “Worker Bee” Award (stick) last week from District Governor Steve Williams. When asked whom I would nominate, Holly Berry immediately came to mind. She tirelessly makes everything work, from board minutes to attendance, and all aspects of the operation. We would not have much of a club without Holly. She is a rock star.
Thank You Holly for all that you do for our club.

Have a great week.

Cheers!
David
